dobrinkatabakova
Daar studeerde Mel met o.a. Claude Debussy. ….Mijn grootste geluk: componeren.

Haar 3e opera Caravaggio ging vorige maand in première in Metz.

lera-3
Lera Auerbach (Russia, 1973) is zo’n typisch wonderkind.
I'm a Welsh woman living in America with influences from Japan.

newly groomed -
my fragrant collie
squirms in the grass

summer vacation -
my collie listens to
the answer-phone

February fields-

of my long-lost collie

MAART 2012: COMPONIST VAN DE MAAND: HANNA KULENTY
hanna_kulenty

amydenio_tongues

Vier jaar later volgde Symfony No. 2 Elegia, for the New Millenium.
Haar muziek is tonaal, romantisch, groots, filmisch.

sinta-2

Boogie Woogie was Mary Lou’s eerste passie.

DECEMBER 2009
peggy

Toen het werk in premiere ging in Berlijn vroeg men haar "Bent Uzelf zigeuner?"

Grace Williams (Wales, 1906-1977)
Ballads for Orchestra (1968)
