Tamamushi Nostalgia, een compositie uit 2010 waarmee Noriko Koide is genomineerd voor de Buma Toonzetters Prijs 2012 was op 13 juni in de uitzending van Radio Monalisa of live tijdens 't Holland Festival op zaterdagmiddag 23 juni. (Muziekgebouw aan aan 't IJ) Hier ensemblestuk The Woman Surrounded by the Flying Birds waarmee ze de Tokyo College of Music Composition Award won in 2005.
Utopisch Nest - De Toverlantaarn -Museum De Lakenhal

Op zondag 17 juni gaat De Toverlantaarn van componist Anke Brouwer live in première in Museum De Lakenhal. Brouwer werkte samen met accordeoniste Marieke Grotenhuis en filmmaker Michiel Keller, met als eindresultaat deze magische muziekfilminstallatie. [foto: Bowie Verschuuren]
Utopisch Nest
Wetenschap is een kunst, en op haar beurt stoelt kunst op een flinke dosis kennis. Het is dan ook niet verwonderlijk dat beide partijen doorlopend inspiratie bij elkaar vinden. Met het samenwerkingsproject Utopisch Nest wordt deze vorm van kruisbestuiving uitgelokt door middel van spraakmakende projecten, afwisselend gebaseerd op de programmering van muziektheaterensemble de Veenfabriek en Museum De Lakenhal.
De muziekfilminstallatie van Anke Brouwer is van 17 juni t/m 12 augustus doorlopend te bezichtigen als onderdeel van de tentoonstelling Toverlantaarns in Museum De Lakenhal. Naast op 17 juni, zijn er ook op 24 juni en tijdens de Museumnacht Leiden van 30 juni live-performances.
17 juni - Tijd: 14.00 uur : Première Utopisch Nest + Anke Brouwer, met live performance en lezingen
24 juni - Tijd:14.00, 15.00, 16.00 uur: Utopisch Nest + Anke Brouwer, met live performances
30 juni - Tijd: 20.00, 21.15, 22.30, 23.45 uur: Utopisch Nest + Anke Brouwer, met live performances tijdens Museumnacht Leiden

Hirundo Maris is Latin for “sea swallow” and, like that bird’s flight, harpist Arianna Savall’s quintet – part early music ensemble, part folk group – drifts on musical currents between Norway and Catalonia, and adds its own songs, created on the wing.
